The inspection system described below is used to perform fast periodic inspections of the serviceability of coordinate measuring machines (also in conformance with DIN ISO 9000).
Via CNC measurements, large amounts of data can be acquired within a short period of time and evaluated in a measurement protocol in conformance with VDI/VDE 2617 page 5, thus minimizing the resulting machine downtime.
The inspection system comprises the following components:
- Multisphere test standard with standard upright positioning system
- Probe testing unit with ring gage, calibration sphere and holder
- Transport and storage container
